2009 Children/Youth & Families Legislative Brunch
Story County Community Partnership for Thriving Families, Story County Childhood Collaboration, Story County Empowerment, and Story County Decategorization partnered efforts to host a legislative brunch on December 19, 2009. The focus of the event was to share successes of local intiatives, to discuss changes in services for children and families and challenges for providers given resource limitations, and share recommendations for the future. Legislators received a copy of the "Story County Storybook" compilation of stories highlighting local program/intiative successes for children/youth, families, and the providers working with them.
